Kristin Rang has been working at the Institute of Agricultural Engineering in the research group of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Büscher since 01.07.2023. With her scientific background in micro- and molecular biology, she opens up new perspectives in the field of forage conservation. As part of the Effilage project, Ms Rang is working with the Institute of Nutrition and Food Sciences to develop a better understanding of the microbial population of silages and to apply this knowledge to minimise avoidable losses.
